This is brilliant!

Daniel Askill

I saw this short film quite a few years ago when a friend of mine – Elliot, bought a OneDotZero DVD. I was not able to watch this short film again until recently when Varvara won every OneDotZero DVD they have ever made. It still amazes me as much today as it did when i first watched it 3 or 4 years ago.

(thanks to shape+colour for sharing the video they found on the internet, allowing everyone to watch this amazing film)

I have just recently been to see the Alter-Modern exhibition at the Tate. Best exhibition i have been to for a long time. I really recommend any one who is here in London going.

Not sure if this is related, but its still a nice idea for a holding page for a website – Altermodern.

Dripping Paint

Apologies for the lack of posts over the last week. Varvara and myself have been busy finishing work for the end of term. Now that’s all done though we will be posting a lot more.

This is a beautiful video.

“Charlie McCarthy was painting when he noticed a drip so he decided to take out his video camera. That was an excellent decision.”

The Art of Title

The best source of title sequences created by Ian and Alex at The Art of Title. Some old, some new but all really good stuff.

Keirin Berlin

Brilliant video.

Keirin is a Japanese type of track cycling event, every fixed gear rider knows this. Danny Baarz made this short movie about Norio Takasugi, a fictitious keirin champion, to promote the Keirin Berlin store. Just take a deep breath and watch it.”
