Futile Spaces

Futile Spaces is an on-going project with the aim of altering city spaces that are being squandered. By creating interventions to occupy these spaces the public can begin to utilise parts of the city that would have otherwise been inaccessible.

These interventions are made as bespoke pieces of city furniture, which without the space they occupy become as useless as their hosting counterparts. These spaces will be sourced as and when they become acknowledged through activities and travels in London.

All interventions will be documented and produced as a booklet to accompany the one you are currently reading. These booklets can be individually collated and placed within an archiving folder of your choice.
